ITV Racing is back in action on Saturday at Musselburgh and Haydock, starting here in a handicap over a mile for a three-year-old. I doubt it VINCENZO PERUGIA he will have a lot to offer this season and he has the opportunity to do it all. He beat the opposing force of Wind Power last quarter and when the weight is different here I doubt he is the master of the pair. He was out of group 2 but a mark of 91 looks good. Rowan Scott rides Charlie Johnston.
It is now a handicap over 7f. NIGHT GUN it can come out of this field under heavy weight. He was heavily favored for Lincoln last season and finished sixth, followed by a fine season at Doncaster before finishing fourth in the listed competition at Saint-Cloud. He may choose to cut the floor, but he’s a class above this one in terms of talent. It can be reversed and come back in time. James Doyle is on for Hamad al Jehani.
A handicap of more than 2m. NAME OF THE REASON he showed enough at Sandown after a good win at Ascot to suggest he can handle around 120 marks and when he was sent off in a crucial event at Newbury last time – he finished fifth but a long way – he was in trouble and possibly in the mud. Every chance for Sam Twiston-Davies and Anthony Honeyball.
14:30 Musselburgh – Al Qareem
Top of the class for a listed competition over 1m6f. AL QAREEM it will be warming up for Chester but he can go well fresh and with a rating of 114 the old boy will be hard to catch from the front on this track. He was better than last season and if only he was good enough to beat Clifford Lee and Karl Burke. Lee returned from injury to ride in Newcastle this weekend.

The handicap problem is more than 3m extended. Paul Nicholls will be aiming to beat Dan Skelton here and could do so in good form JAKART DU MOULIN. This expensive purchase has improved significantly since the wind performance and followed Exeter’s victory with victory at Ascot. He stays healthy and could be better than his current score. Harry Cobden rides.
15:05 Musselburgh – Wise Eagle (everything)
Disability over 1m6f. WISE LETSONY it can be overpriced. At nine he won’t get better, but he has shown life over the hurdles this year and was fourth last season at 104 and is down to 95 now. In addition, he ran well last year from the race. Every chance for Adam Nicol and Billy Gerrity.
15:20 Haydock – Stupid Peter (everything)
Now the old handicapper is chasing 2m4f. COMMANDER PETER was impressed by the defiant Genois last time but is well on 2lb and this slightly longer trip is also in his favour. Throw in the belt for the first time and I doubt that Harry Cobden has a chance to go to his boss Paul Nicholls.
15:42 Musselburgh A visitor (everything)
The Scottish Sprint Cup Handicap over 5f. THE TRAVELER does the person who entered here not return to his virtue. He has raced little of late, but in 2024 he reached the 28-runner Palace of Holyrood Handicap at Royal Ascot. He was rated 92 then and is back to 92 here, although William Pyle takes 3lb so you could argue he runs 89. Every chance to wear a smart outfit in the Barron’s stable.
Finally a low level handicap chase 2m4f. MY DEAR ADHEMAR he looked like he needed to step up at the trip to Newcastle last time but he hasn’t won a race and it’s hard to be too strong about that. Theo Gillard is riding Donald McCain. A poor race by ITV standards.
So good luck and pray Yeeehaaas. Can you hear me Paddy?
